About Me

About Me

My journey began when a class project sparked my fascination with how design can solve problems and make technology more accessible for people. This passion led me to create product concepts through student research and prototyping, and to pursue coursework to develop my skills.

Currently, I'm an Experience Designer at Bank of America in Boston, MA, where I lead design for payment acceptance platforms that empower small business owners and global banking clients. I work closely with business, product, and tech partners to ideate, design, and deliver experiences that achieve both user and business goals.

When I’m not behind a computer screen, you can find me exploring the city, going on hikes, playing tennis or pickleball, or at a coffee shop. Let's connect!

Testimonials

I can’t speak highly enough of Hunter’s work this year. His thoughtful approach, proactiveness, and positive attitude add value to every project he touches, building credibility and trust with partners across the organization.

Chelsea Brierton, Project Lead at Bank of America

This storyboard is very good work by Hunter – use case and persona-driven UX definition. Exactly the strategic approach we need to take for the Merchant space.

Managing Director, Digital Strategy at Bank of America

Hunter worked smart and efficiently to complete work that has been avoided for over a year. He was highly collaborative and delivered more than a month ahead of schedule and serves as a model of what a great designer on our team is able to achieve. A few of the great things I’ve seen from him: delivering very quickly, asking questions, providing multiple options/iterations, joining optional learning sessions, and communicating status and plans.

Nate Ernst, Design Principal at Bank of America

Hunter, thank you for your effort in developing the Merchant Services user personas. These are important artifacts that the Digital Team did not have before.

Your personas help us bring this customer base to life so we can ensure we develop digital features that meets our clients' needs. It's always hard to develop something that never existed before, and you provided a solid foundation for us to work off of.
